Support a Hawaiian Spay/Neuter Fund for Feral Cats
Bill SB2837 would create a special fund to finance spaying/neutering of community cats in order to “humanely [reduce]…pet overpopulation and the number of free-roaming cats in the State."
It stands in stark contrast to HB1987, which called for a massive culling of almost all of them by the end of 2025. Please go to the Hawaii State Legislature’s website to read the full bill and to create a FREE account so that you can submit a statement in support of SB2837. You do not need to be a resident of Hawaii to register. |
