Privacy Policy

ACR protects your privacy
Alley Cat Rescue protects the privacy of personal information shared by our members. ACR firmly commits to data privacy and security.  Protecting your privacy is very important to us, and we wish to share with you our policies regarding the collection of any personal information, both online or offline, that comes to us in the form of a name, address, phone number, e-mail address, or other information provided to us by ACR members. This includes any visitors to our website.

What information do we get from our members?
For our database we need name and address, to enable us to send you Newsletters and any other communications we want to share with you. Calls to Action and Alerts when action needs to be taken on certain issues pertaining to helping cats.

Information that we gather from subscribers and donors who provides their e-mail addresses is not shared with other organizations or companies. You may opt-out from receiving communications from Alley Cat Rescue by contacting our Office.

All information is kept in a secure database protected by reasonable network security. 

Can I unsubscribe?
All our e-mail messages sent to subscribers have a link that allows you to unsubscribe at any time. In order to educate the public and cat lovers on our issues that we work on, we do from time to time share names with select not-for-profit organizations, groups who share our ethical standards and who are working towards the goal of ending cruelty to animals. We will never share email addresses and phone numbers with anyone else. Keep in mind that even if we do share your name, with your permission, others will never add that name to their mailing list, unless you respond to them.
We honor any and all requests if anyone does not wish their address shared to receive educational materials from other like-minded groups. Any requests like this can be sent to our Post Office Box, or emailed to us at acr@saveacat.org
